“Building the robotics club taught me as much as my degree did.”
Their journey
David was the kid who took apart the family lawnmower just to see how it worked. That curiosity carried him through an engineering degree at Stevens and into aerospace.
He now works on radar and defense systems, and credits the school's first robotics club — which he helped start — with pointing him toward the field.
Advice to current students
Join the club, the team, the project — whatever it is. The hands-on stuff teaches you more than any single class, and it's where you find the people who push you.
